I feel like I'm having such a battle with my eyebrows at the moment. I'm trying my best to let them grow but it is so hard giving the tweezers a rest! I think I'm starting to win with them and have got some growth in areas where it is needed, however I still need to use either a powder or a pencil to make them look fuller. I'm all for quick and easy make-up and really liked the sound of this gel product. In the description it says you can get perfectly groomed eyebrows, in one easy, smooth application. But as you will see in my review this really isn't the case with this product!
The product is priced at £3.99, which is great in comparison with similar products. It comes in three different shades and a clear shade (I chose the dark brown shade). The formula is meant to be long-lasting and comfortable. It claims to have a precision brush to define eyebrows.
The major problem with this product is the brush. I really don't know how they can describe it as a precision brush - it is wayyy to big! When using the product you end up with most of it in the wrong place and it makes such a mess.
The shade of the product is ok, but it is so hard to get the product where you want it, it is difficult to tell. I would not say the product applies in one easy, smooth application! The picture below is after I've cleaned everything up with a wipe. I wouldn't say the product is 'comfortable' to wear either. I prefer the smooth feeling you get from either a powder or a pencil.
So overall, I really REALLY did not like this product. I'm very glad it wasn't expensive to buy. It has actually put me off buying similar products to this. Has anyone else tried this product? What did you think of it? I'm intrigued to try out the new eyebrow product from Maybelline (satin brow) I think that will be my next brow purchase!
Thanks for reading!
