Rimmel Match Perfection Illuminating Concealer Review

A few months back I sadly lost my Benefit Fake Up concealer, which I'm still really annoyed about, as I really liked the coverage it gave and it cost £18.50! I really didn't fancy spending another £18.50 on the same concealer and so I decided to try Rimmel's Match Perfection Illuminating concealer, which is a lot cheaper at £5.99.

This concealer is aimed to help conceal signs of fatigue. It should illuminate and highlight the eye area, giving the appearance that you're wide awake! The product only comes in three shades; ivory, soft beige and classic beige. I have ivory - which is a perfect match for my skin tone.

I have been using this concealer non-stop for weeks now. I think it is brilliant. Although the brush itself is a bit useless the product is actually really good. I think it provides good coverage, without looking cakey and I find it does illuminate the eye area and help to conceal dark circles too.

I like the consistency of the product, it's nice and creamy and it goes on smoothly. I found that this product didn't dry out my skin either. For me, the product has a good wearing time - I don't feel the need for a touch up during the day.

I have really enjoyed using this concealer and actually prefer it to the Benefit Fake Up concealer. I found it was quite similar to the Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer for £4.19 - but I would still repurchase this concealer and rate it a 9/10!

Thanks for reading!
