To be honest I'm not fully sure what the difference is between a BB cream and a CC cream. Even now comparing my Maybelline BB cream to the new Bourjois CC cream, I'm not sure how they compare in terms of overall appearance on the skin. Saying that, I have really loved using this Bourjois CC cream and it has certainly met my expectations.
This CC cream has three colour correcting pigments, which are meant to give a fresh and luminous result. It contains apricot for anti-fatigue, green for anti-redness and white for anti-dark spots. It also has SPF 15 and provides 24hr hydration.
The first thing that struck me with this product is the smell - it really has that holiday feeling fresh smell. It's really nice! The product is available in four different shades - I decided to get this in ivory, which is great for my skin tone.
This CC cream has a really lightweight texture, it is quite runny and so a little goes a long way. It glides on really smoothly and it's very easy to blend, apart from it takes a little while to blend around the nose (my nose is quite a dry area and this product does cling a little). I find that it provides plenty of coverage and really does help to hide redness and fatigue. It gives a nice natural look too.
I found that I did need to touch up the product a little towards the end of the day but my skin certainly felt hydrated throughout the day. One thing I have to mention is that I did notice my skin break out a little - although I'm still not sure whether it is down to this product or something else. I really hope it's not the product because I think it's great and worth the money (£9.99). I would rate it a 8/10 and depending on how my skin goes in the next few months, I'm hoping it will be a repurchase!

Ooh I've not tried those - I really liked Clinque's BB cream too! This is the first CC cream I've tried - it's so similar to a BB cream. If you try one let me know what you think! xx
